Welcome to 1st Yate Scout Group!
As a fun and active scout group, we provide young people the opportunity to experience and enjoy activities that they may not otherwise have access to. These include many outdoor activities from canoeing to climbing and camping to cooking. We offer challenges appropriate to each age group and individual skills.
So why not join the over 50 million Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Network members, Leader, Assistant leaders and Occasional helpers worldwide who have all realized how much fun Scouting really is!
Our History
Our Scout Group has been running at its current premises for over 45 years, providing Scouting for young people from age 4 to 14½ regardless of gender, faith or background. We seek to offer fun, friendship and adventure not only to the young people but also the adults involved with the Group. To find out more about our history, click here
